Sir William Eyre 3rd son of Sir William Eyre of great Chaldfield. He was the M.P. for Westbury in the Protector Richard's Parliament.
Col. William Eyre was aged 5 in 1623, became Govenor of Devizes Castle, succeeded his father in the Neston Estate.
William was successor to his father at Neston, entered Middle Temple 1688, just after the death of his wife no issue.
