Little is know of Harry after the 1911 census. A previous estimate of his death taking place in Rotherham reg district in 1976 has since been ruled out. From his 1900 census where he is stated as being 8 months I had tried finding a death record that returned back to this period but it seemed far more likely to be to another Harry Eyre whose birth was registered in the Rotherham reg district in exactly the same year and quarter as mine was registered in Skirlaugh reg district
