This branch is of the descendents of Venn Eyre Archdeacon of Carlisle born c1712 and include Edmund John Eyre actor and playwright and his uncle (another Edmund John Eyre) who emigrated mid 19th century and started a branch of the surname over in Australia,

It is believed, yet not proven that this branch is a sub branch of the Wiltshire line and is linked with the fanilies that appear in Middlesex around this period.
