Eyre Coat of Arms and Crest

Ayre Crest in Hope Church

The above photo was taken by myself in the late 1990's and shows the Ayre crest / Coat of Arms inside Hope Church.

The spelling is unusual given that the Eyre spelling is far more common in the area. Perhaps a typo.
