Geoffrey succeeded to his father's land at Etchilhampton, on

his father's death1

Geoffrey le Heyr succeeded to his father's (Richard) land

around 1270 but he died in 1280 leaving his son Richard a

minor, as his heir.

Nicholas le Heyr, brother of Geoffrey, acted as trustee of the

estate until Richard became of age.4
